Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full-time/part-time, pharmacy dispenser/trainee to work within our pharmacy. We are looking for a professional, caring and enthusiastic person who will provide the best care to our customers at all times.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of the counter
• Taking in and handing out prescriptions
• Stock management and merchandising
• Selling over the counter medicines and providing patients with their healthcare needs
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop.

The Candidate

Candidates must:

• be flexible
• be reliable and conscientious
• have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic
• have completed a Counter assistant course (preferred)
• have worked within a pharmacy (preferred)
• have proven customer service skills
• be able to deal with confidential information and follow set processes
• be a team player
• have strong communication skills
• be committed to self-development
• have attention to detail
• have strong numeracy and literacy skills
