Job Title: Full-Time Experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Location: Murrays Chemist, Harrow HA3 8BL

Murrays Chemist is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our dedicated team in Harrow. If you possess excellent customer service skills, have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant course, and have a passion for providing top-notch pharmaceutical services, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

• Serve patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Sell medications and provide accurate information about their use
• Hand out prescriptions promptly and efficiently
• Greet and befriend patients, creating a welcoming environment
• Promote additional pharmacy services to enhance patient care

Appointment Management:

• Take bookings for NHS and private services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Stock Management:

• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory
• Place orders with wholesalers to maintain adequate stock levels
• Conduct date checking and ensure adherence to safety protocols

General Pharmacy Duties:

• Ensure the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy counter
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant
• Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant course

Skills:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription handling
• Familiarity with stock management and ordering processes

Qualifications:

• Medicines Counter Assistant course completion certificate
