Job Description

*WILL CONSIDER PHARMACISTS QUALIFYING IN 2023*

We are seeking a motivated and passionate pharmacist to join our team. Since Noak Bridge pharmacy is based in a village, we feel it is important for our employees to be able to build a strong relationship with the local community including our patients and local healthcare professionals.

We are looking to hire a pharmacist for a minimum of 3 or 4 days per week. Saturdays are optional. We understand that you may have other commitments so can be reasonably flexible if required.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• dispensing and checking as needed
• advising patients on their medication
• providing advice to patients with minor illnesses, referring where necessary
• providing clinical services such as NMS, CPCS, influenza vaccinations and other services
• maintaining and developing the links with local GP surgeries and other healthcare providers
• working alongside other members of the team to provide the best possible care to all of our patients

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• GPhC registered pharmacist
• good knowledge of pharmacology
• ability to handle work pressure with tact
• excellent interpersonal communication skills
• ability to work as part of as well as lead a team
• adheres to standards and procedures and follows the GPhC code of conduct at all times
• an understanding of retail pharmacy and the pharmacy contract
• will consider anyone from newly qualified pharmacists to highly experienced pharmacists
