Job Description

We are looking to recruit a foundation year pharmacist to work in our Riverside Pharmacy. The pharmacy is currently operating Monday- Friday 9am-6.00 pm. We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning, with a genuine interest in community pharmacy and the services it offers to the public. The successful candidate will be supported by one of our experienced managers with all aspects of their learning along with an opportunity to taste what pharmacy is like across other aspects within the community such as Atlas Care \home systems, BD Rowa original pack robots, Methameasure, TItan PMR systems, Travel Vaccinations and much more. This pharmacy will also be operated by an independent prescribing Pharmacist.

Essential:

• Passion for healthcare
• Demonstrate examples of great customer interaction inside or outside of the business.
• Passionate about making a difference to health outcomes within Fleetwood
• Previous experience in a busy pharmacy
• MPharm Degree
• Prepared to work flexibly outside of working hours to support local initiatives and events such as offering health checks at local libraries, Healthier Fleetwood events etc.
• Willingness to be trained to also deliver NHS Health Checks, Stop Smoking Service, BP Service and support other services such as Travel Clinics and Private PGDs and independent prescribing with the pharmacist
• Can clearly demonstrate examples of teamwork and handling complex customer situations

This role is advertised for 40 hour working week, but are willing to be flexible with hours that support the foundation year curriculum.
