Outpatient Pharmacy – Torquay

Part Time (30 hours per week)
Salary £36,000-£40,000 pro rata

SDH Developments Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (TSDFT), providing pharmacy services to the outpatients and visitors of TSDFT at Torbay Hospital and across the organisation. The services provided to our outpatients continue to develop, and we are looking for a pharmacist to join our team.

This is the ideal job opportunity for pharmacists working in community pharmacy and looking to experience working in a hospital setting. You will work alongside inpatient pharmacy colleagues in areas such as chemotherapy, high cost drugs, HIV and paediatrics. Likewise for pharmacists working in hospital this job will enable you to build your community pharmacy experience gaining organisational, management and financial skills.

With an investment from NHS England our brand new robot dispensing facility has state-of-the-art technology. With new and exciting projects on the horizon with Torbay Hospital, this is a fabulous time to join our expanding team.

We are looking for a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a proven commitment to continued professional development; two years post registration experience. We welcome applicants from both the hospital and community pharmacy sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their abilities in clinical and management skills.
