Job Description

Our organisation is looking for a highly motivated and forward thinking pre-registration student to undertake their placement within our pharmacy. The pre-registration student will follow a comprehensive and structured training programme to support their journey throughout the year enhancing and nurturing both their clinical knowledge and their interactive skills. The chosen individual will develop strong relationships not only with the pharmacy team but also GPs, dentists, nurses, private healthcare providers and cosmetic services. Further clinical knowledge will be gained if the student decides to undertake a placement in hospital pharmacy.

The pre-registration tutor will always be available to discuss all matters in relation to community pharmacy practice and ensure the student is following guidance in line with NHS England and the GPhC recommendations. The student will be required to interact with patients from all demographics and be able to drive counter sales in a professional, legal and ethical manner. In addition the student must be able to promote health services enhancing the pharmacy’s healthy mind and healthy living status. This position should be strongly considered for those wanting to build their business acumen.
