Pre-registration Pharmacist

Job Description

A one year fixed term contract to meet the requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council in order to register as a Pharmacist. To gain appropriate training and experience in the provision of a comprehensive pharmaceutical service within each of the pharmacy department. Promote a positive company image by keeping a neat, clean and tidy appearance
– Ensure all customers/patients are well received and dealt with appropriately, maintaining a professional and welcoming approach at all times
– To be responsible for the collection of evidence to support the achievement of the General Pharmaceutical Council Performance Standards
– To undertake or support practice research in the form of a Pre-Registration audit
– Ensure a clear understanding of the ingredients in prescribed drugs as well as over the counter medications
– Dispensing medications to customers/patients and explaining details on dosages, common allergies and possible interaction with foods and other Pharmaceutical duties
