Conducting your Pre-registration placement with us will help develop you into a commercially and clinically skilled pharmacist with comprehensive support along the way to enable you to pass your Pre-registration assessment.
What we offer
With a wide range of advanced services at the heart of what we do, your clinical skills will be developed to enable you to have an in-depth understanding of this new era of community pharmacy. Our services include but are not limited to: flu vaccinations, travel vaccination clinics, erectile dysfunction clinic, weight loss clinic, hair loss clinic, MUR, NMS, repeat dispensing, smoking cessation, NUMSAS, domiciliary medicines management, compliance aids, blood pressure screening and diabetes screening.
Our training programme is aligned to the requirements laid out by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). A learning contract covering all the GPhC competencies will be agreed.
We will provide you with the training and product knowledge to provide over the counter (OTC) medication.
You will also have the benefit of regular external study days/webinars where you will have an opportunity to network with other Pre-registration students, development of clinical and managerial skills and support for the Pre-registration assessment including calculations practice.

All applicants must meet the following requirement:
-Final year MPharm Student – with good pass marks.
-At least four weeks experience working in a community pharmacy
Interview
-First stage: telephone interview
-Second stage: competency based interview and role play
