Pre-Registration vacancy for 2018-2019 entry
Our training programme is aligned to the requirements laid out by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). A learning contract covering all the GPhC competencies will be agreed.
We will provide you with the training and product knowledge to provide over the counter (OTC) medication.
The Pharmacy is a busy vibrant environment and having your Pre-Registration placement here will help you develop into a commercially focused responsible pharmacist and we will offer the support needed to enable you to pass your Pre-Registration Assessment.
You will also have the benefit of regular external study days/ webinars where you will have an opportunity to network with other Pre-Registration students, development of clinical and managerial skills and support for the Pre-Registration Assessment including calculations practice.
You must meet the following requirement:
Final year MPharm Student – with good pass marks
At least four weeks experience working in a community pharmacy
Interview
There will be a competency based interview which will involve role plays.
Pharmacy providing all the following services: MUR, NMS, Repeat Dispensing, Smoking cessation, NUMSAS, Domiciliary medicines management, compliance aids, Blood pressure screening, diabetes screening.
