Job Description

We are an independent pharmacy in York, part of a group of 5 family run pharmacies in Yorkshire. Two of our branches have been inspected by the GPhC and awarded “Good” status. In 2015 we were also awarded the Team Learning and Development winner at the Independent Pharmacy Awards. We have 10 years experience of taking pre-registration pharmacists through to qualifying and in fact several of our pre-reg students have remained with us, two currently working as pharmacy managers and one as a support pharmacist. The Priory Pharmacy is in a busy medical centre and offers a well -rounded experience for a pre-registration pharmacist.
What you can expect from your placement with us:
During your placement, you will gain exposure to a broad range of pharmacy activities including compliance aids, nursing homes, intermediate care ward services & discharge medication, smoking cessation, sexual health, healthy lifestyles, minor ailment services, Electronic Prescription Service, services to district nurses and close GP/pharmacy working relationships. You will also have the opportunity to develop leadership, managerial, problem solving and business management skills allowing trainees to prepare for a successful career in pharmacy.

• £16,500 annual salary

• Hours will reflect the needs of the business and may include an evening and/or weekend shift
