Job Description

You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist, and will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient service to our patients, your duties will include:

To create and/or update patient medication records in accordance with standard operating procedures and data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality.
To select, label and dispense correct items in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply of medicines to patients.
Assist with stock control to maximise availability and minimise waste.
To assist with the engagement of patients onto advanced services such as MURs and NMS.
Ensure the safe and appropriate storage of medicines.
To work as part of a team and support pharmacy colleagues if needed.
To maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of pharmacy issues for the purpose of continuing professional development.
To assist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients by carrying out reasonable duties as determined by the pharmacist.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Fluent spoken and written English.
UK work permit and able to work up to 43 hours a week.
Current retail and dispensing experience working within pharmacy in the U.K.
Good customer service skills required and must be flexible with a positive attitude.
Engagement in training will be expected and provided. Previous experience and qualifications in a pharmacy is desirable.
This is a permanent contract.
