Job Description

We are looking for a qualified pharmacy technician (BTEC/NVQ level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent) to work 3 – 4 days per week in an independent community pharmacy in Hay-on-Wye. With moderate prescription numbers and a large retail area we have a great opportunity to extend our services to the community. The ideal candidate will work with the pharmacist to develop this portfolio of NHS services provided by the pharmacy as well as the usual dispensing duties and occasional medicine counter sales. Although experience in service provision is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided. Another important role will be medicines management to improve patient adherence and understanding of their medicines. Local candidates preferred (within a 25 mile radius of HR3 5AE).
