Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacy student to join our team this year for foundation training for next year 2024/ 2025. The training placement for trainee pharmacist follows a plan approved by the GPhC to ensure all the desired learning outcomes are met.

Ruislip Manor Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy in the outskirts of West London all our students have passed first time! We provide a wide range of health care and pharmacy services to the local community. We offer a variety of experiences to students, providing them many opportunities for professional development and acquiring new skills while building confidence in practice. Students work together with our experienced team of a second pharmacist and trained supporting staff to deliver services such as travel clinic, smoking cessation, emergency contraceptive advice to name a few. We are also providing many of the newly commissioned advanced and clinical services to patients. We have links with the local hospital for cross sector exchange.

Pre-registration pharmacists are also enrolled on a professional training program which is delivered over the 12-month period to further support learning and development and enhance exam preparation. The trainees get 4 weeks paid holidays plus bank holidays. The salary will be £24,000 per annum, payable on a monthly basis. 37.5 HOURS Per week
