Job Description

Shivakem pharmacy is a well established independent pharmacy with a friendly working environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pre-registration pharmacist to join our team in July 2021. Our comprehensive training program will aim to cover all aspects of GPhC requirements to give candidates the perfect skill set in becoming competent registered Pharmacists.

Candidates will have good exposure to a variety of prescriptions (NHS & private & veterinary, repeat dispensing, CDs and dossette boxes), opportunities to liaise with other health care professionals such as GPs, Nurses and hospital pharmacists regarding patient medicines and learn to manage pharmacy stock. Pre-reg pharmacists will be instrumental in providing all the pharmacy services, including provision of advice and product recommendations to patients who present at the counter with minor ailments.
Candidates will be supported by a highly experienced full time tutor. There will be offsite monthly training programs to supplement learning, help candidates prepare for the GPHC exam and also give them the opportunity to interact with other pre-registration pharmacists.
