Job Description

Simmons Pharmacy is looking for a Pre-registration pharmacist for the 2019-2020 training period. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and can work well within a team. The role will involve assisting the pharmacy team to run a successful patient centred service from advising and interacting with patients, OTC sales, but also collaborating with local GP’s and other health professionals to be able to provide the best patient focused service.
The 12 month programme will be based in a community pharmacy and include the following:
• Full support and guidance to develop clinical, communication and business skills by a dedicated tutor and other pharmacists in the team,
• Comprehensive training underpinned by the NPA Pre-Registration Training Programme,
• Off-site study days with other Pre-registration trainees.
