The Specialist Pharmacy is the first compounding pharmacy in the UK, creating bespoke medicines designed to treat any kind of symptoms, as an alternative solution to the ‘one size fits all’ approach of standard medicine.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Lead role will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the business’ Supply Chain are running smoothly: from sourcing raw materials, consumables and equipment, to negotiating best prices with suppliers, to manufacturing cost control optimisation and shipment to the final customers.

The post holder will be responsible for providing day-to day support to the pharmacy supply chain and procurement activities. This will include implementation and management of contracts including price negotiations; ordering of all medicines; authorisation of invoices; liaising with suppliers and customers; managing and controlling stock levels; dealing with stock shortages; production of usage and expenditure reports; managing MHRA drug recalls; dealing with procurement related problems and enquiries.
