Job Description

Part time dispensary and counter assistant.

You will be working under the supervision of a pharmacist to provide counter sales and dispensary services, the ethos being to provide excellent and individually focused patient care. You will need to be able to communicate clearly with members of the public, have a genuine interest in peoples health and be aware of the laws and regulations within pharmacy. You will be required to carry out all duties in the daily running of a community based pharmacy.

The role is for an individual who is accurate and methodical in their work and pays attention to detail.

You will need to have, at a minimum, an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and medicines counter assistant. The position will require previous experience in pharmacy and in depth knowledge of Proscript Connect.
