Winchester Pharmacy – Middlesex

You will work closely with the pharmacists and other staff in our small but busy establishment. Our training is supplemented with a highly rated external training programme which includes study days covering topics such as calculations, clinical activities and mock exam practice as well as workbooks and revision guides.
We provide many advanced and enhanced services as well as all essential services eg: MURs and NMS Services, EHC, Stop Smoking Services, Minor Ailments Scheme, NHS Health Check, substance misuse services and Champix PGD.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
To undertake a full year of training under the supervision of the pharmacist tutor and other pharmacy team members such as pharmacists & dispensers.
To carry out activities related to all aspects of preparing & supplying medicines.
To learn and develop performance standards in accordance with the tasks, knowledge, skills and professionalism expected of a registered pharmacist.
To learn the business side of managing & running a community pharmacy.
To provide advice to patients on the use of medicines as well as on general health and lifestyle matters.
