We want your reflections…

  • How has the COVID-19 crisis affected community pharmacy?
  • How well did community pharmacy respond?
  • What is going to be the “new normal”?

It is already clear that the Covid crisis will change elements of all parts of the health system, and wider society, in the future.  We are keen to gather the thoughts of our members on what the future holds as we move into the “new normal”. What needs to be stopped, started and continued for us to become more resilient? What is important to you, as you lead your businesses and teams to a new way of working and what are the potential opportunities to develop some new models of care?

We are inviting you to participate in our virtual discussion forum for NPA members in Northern Ireland on:
Tuesday 2nd June, 7.30 – 8.30pm.

We will be asking for your early reflections on the Covid crisis and how other changes in the primary-care eco-system, may affect us in community pharmacy.

We will explore the key impact issues in terms of your people, your operations, your customers and your business resilience.  This information will inform our discussions with local stakeholders, including the CPNI/HSCB service development group.  It will provide a platform to ensure that NPA’s members views are reflected in plans for new ways of working and that your ideas will be captured to develop some new models of care.

We will also provide an update on what support is available from the NPA and upcoming service developments.

Michael Guerin, NPA Board member, Anne McAlister and Michael Lennox, who will facilitate the forum on behalf of the NPA, look forward to your company.
