Early reflections on how community pharmacy responded, and how the crisis could change practice.

Early reflections on how community pharmacy responded, and how the crisis could change practice.

Community pharmacy responded valiantly to the Covid crisis and demonstrated what a vital role the network plays in the health of the nation. It is already clear that the Covid crisis will change elements of all parts of the health system, and wider society, in the future. NHS England has asked the NPA and other bodies to contribute to their thinking on what the future holds as we move into the “new normal”. What do we need to be restored and reformed in terms of our contract and our place in primary care?

We are inviting NPA members to a series of virtual forums.

You are invited to contribute to the NPA’s understanding of what is important to you, as you lead your businesses and teams to a new way of working and potential opportunity to develop some new models of care.

We want to feed your voice directly into our submissions.

We will be asking for your early reflections on the Covid crisis and how other changes, such as the increase in online GP consultations, may affect the community pharmacy service.
