The manufacturer has recalled the batch due to an issue with homogeneity. This issue may cause an individual suppository to contain too much or too little active ingredient.
Pharmacy teams should immediately stop supplying suppositories from the affected batches, quarantine all remaining stock and return it to the supplier using the approved process.
