Download the NHS App

NHS Digital is encouraging public sector healthcare professionals, including pharmacy staff, to download and use the NHS App for their own health and care.

The app is a secure way for people to access a range of NHS services on a smartphone or tablet.

A spokesperson from NHS Digital said: “Patients at 95% of GP practices in England can now use it to book appointments at their GP surgery, order repeat prescriptions and more.

“Finding out what the app can do for you will also help you support patients as use of the app increases. Simply visit your app store, search for ‘NHS App’ and download it for free.”
