HRT preparations – shortages

The NPA Pharmacy Services team has published a resource table that provides information on the latest availability of HRT preparations

The NPA Pharmacy Services team has published a resource to provide information on the current availability of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) preparations and provide the latest resupply dates for products with shortage issues. This will be updated on an ongoing basis.

In addition, the NPA Pharmacy Services team has produced guidance to provide clinical support to help pharmacists make recommendations on possible alternatives and provide information on the use of unlicensed preparations and alternative treatments for menopausal symptoms.
