NHS England is launching a Stay Well campaign

18 Jan 2018

The campaign is to encourage more parents with young children to use community pharmacies for the treatment of minor ailments. It will run from 12 February to 26 March.

The campaign will be targeted at parents of children, aged five years or under, aimed at building confidence and trust in the advice given by community pharmacy teams. It is hoped it will encourage more parents to use pharmacies rather than visiting their GP for minor health concerns.

Local NHS England teams have been notified that the campaign will feature as one of community pharmacy’s six public health campaigns for the year.

The campaign will include: television advertising; social media activity; posters and leaflets and; a media partnership with NetMums. Campaign materials will be distributed to community pharmacies.

The NPA will also be sharing further details on the launch of the campaign as soon as it has them. Look out for more information on the campaign in the coming days.

The NPA is always on the look-out for members who are willing to advocate for the sector in the local media and support campaigns such as Stay Well Pharmacy. It supports the NPA’s aspiration to build up and enable a network of spokespeople willing to support its campaign work. Email c.fay@npa.co.uk to get involved.
