NPA fundraising for Pharmacist Support, with new clothing range

11 May 2018

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is selling an exclusive range of Community Pharmacy Works clothing items, including socks, cufflinks and t-shirts, with all proceeds going to the charity Pharmacist Support.  Pharmacist Support provides help in times of need for pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists and pharmacy students.

NPA Head of Communications, Stephen Fishwick said:

“All proceeds from the sale of these clothes will go to Pharmacist Support.  The NPA is delighted to support a charity which performs such a valuable role.  Some of the items on sale – such as the Community Pharmacy Works cufflinks and socks  – are a subtle way to show how proud you are to work in the pharmacy world.  The t-shirts are rather less subtle but why be shy about saying, ‘I believe in community pharmacy’?  These are all great gifts for birthdays or other special occasions and it’s all in a worthy cause.”

Chief Executive of Pharmacist Support Diane Leicester-Hallam said:

“We’re absolutely delighted that the NPA have chosen to support Pharmacist Support and the work we do in helping those in the profession facing a range of difficult circumstances – whether that’s a bereavement, illness, bullying or workplace pressure, loss of work, financial issues or addiction. The money raised from NPA members will enable us to continue to provide our free and confidential services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainees and students long into the future.”
